Minty Square is an e-commerce platform that aims to give visibility to respected designers and new talents in design, with a special focus on fashion, footwear, and accessories. Recently, this Portuguese startup got an investment of 1 million euros from a leading online advertising company.
Founded in February 2015 by Ana Cravo and João Figueiredo, the platform was born from an initial investment resulting from equity and deep dedication to the project, with the support of IAPMEI. With this capital increase, the e-commerce platform of the author’s fashion intends to strengthen the team and consolidate its position in the Portuguese market.
Minty Square will also focus on internationalization and is already preparing strategies to open doors to new markets such as Spain, Poland, and Germany. Later, the bet will pass to other geographies such as the United States, Australia, China and other Asian countries.
Minty Square intends to continue investing in the discovery and promotion of fashion designers and brands, with the goal of promoting and sellings the author’s fashion. The selection of brands and products to be included in this e-commerce platform is done in a judicious way so as to provide an offer with personality and exclusivity.
Currently, the platform has the collections of more than 40 designers, among them Nobrand, Daniela Barros, Baguera, Luis Carvalho, Katty Xiomara and Gracedition. Minty Square is thus the new “creators’ square” that promotes in a single online space the latest trends presented in passerelle. This collective will join new names in a concept that aims to catapult fashion to a global level.
