Earlier this month, Apple received a license to begin testing autonomous automotive technology in California, and now the first video of the manufacturer’s test vehicle has been seen.

Lexus RX450h Apple Autonomous Car

The car, a white Lexus RX450h crossover, was spotted somewhere in Silicon Valley. The car appears to be equipped with third-party sensors and hardware, including a LODAR sensor made of Velodyne, two radar units and multiple cameras, according to Bloomberg.

It is unclear what kind of data Apple will gather, given the secrecy of its autonomous car unit. But it is known, from various information and rumors of Cupertino, that Apple has abandoned its ambitions to build an entirely new vehicle from scratch and is now focused on building a software that can be used in existing cars.

Passionated about technology, startups, and gadgets, I see innovation as the motor of economy and people with new ideas as it's fuel. I believe that every single one of us can create something new that can benefit the world. BBallMaster was created by me and it's one of my first creations, it's not as big as I thought it would be, but it's more exciting than I ever thought it could become.
